The Birth Gazette

Privacy

Effective October 10, 2026

In short: we collect what we need to make and ship one book, we share it only with the companies that help us do that, we don't sell it, and we delete what we don't need. Write to [email protected] to see or delete your data.

What we collect

We don't collect card numbers (PayPal handles payment).

Advertising: our home page uses the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone visits, prints a front page, asks for it by email, starts checkout or completes an order, so our ads reach people more likely to be interested and we can tell whether they work. Meta may set a cookie and receives your browser and device details with those events. We don't send Meta the names, birthdays or email addresses you type. Under some U.S. state laws this can count as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You can turn it off below, and we automatically honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.

When you enter another person's name and birthday, please make sure they would be happy for you to do so.

Who we share it with

Only with the companies that help us make and deliver your book, and only what each one needs:

The history texts in the books are written for each date with the help of an AI service. It only receives the date, never names or any other personal detail.

We don't sell your personal information. Apart from the Meta Pixel described above, we don't share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for asking. Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws have these rights under those laws.

Your privacy choices

Do not share my personal information for targeted advertising: this turns off the Meta Pixel on this browser.

Children

Our site is for adults ordering gifts and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. A book may name a child as its recipient only when ordered by an adult.

Security

Your order page and your PDF are reachable only through a private link that is sent to you. Our site uses encrypted connections, and the data is stored on servers we control.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
